I just chose a random sinister word ( I chose Defiled ) and i've based all my characters names around it like.... The Defiled Knight ( my D/N ) The Defiled Warlord ( my W/N ) The Defiled Warlock ( my N/D ) and they are my three characters.

Sounds rather cool and it's good to have all characters based around the same name.

I used a nick i've been using for a long time. avatar. but since it was taken, and i started with factions, i wanted to add something chinesse, japanesse, something that would define warrior. warrior, solider, genereal, shogun!

my names mostly feature the word rat,got a malicious slime rat(war),toxic slime rat(nec) and divine slime rat(monk) my latest is called sewer habitant(mes) though

I always prefix my character names with ‘Rite’ then profession based second part.

Hence:

Mesmer = Rite Mesmerising

Ele = Rite of Terra (Terra as in Terra Firma)

PVP character = Rite Incompetent (which I’m not, honest)

Actually No, never really liked the final fantasy games. My name comes from a nickname given to my many many moons ago in the 5th grade when one day my teacher exclaimed "Do you have you head in the clouds?" from that day on my friends have known me as Cloud. My main character is Clouds Heart(pretty self explanitory) Also have Clouds Fletcher, Clouds Dark Aura, Clouds Darksoul, So yeah take note I am not a Final Fantasy fan just someone with a name that stuck

Basically, a Kurdaitcha is an aboriginal assassin, who uses a "spear of thought" to kill his enemies. His weapon, called the kundela, is made of human bones and emu feathers.

Unknowing Tyrant (W): Part of a metal song I like. Seemed fitting for a W/Mo.

Adi Sankara (Mo): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adi_Sankara It's the name of a real person. I always viewed Hinduism as a peaceful religion, and that seemed perfect for my monk.

Corpse Recycler (N): Duh.

Arista Eartsher (Pre R): Arista is Greek for "the best", Eartsher is Greek for "Archer".

Based the forname of a the character marth of fire emblem, cause it sounded a lot like my own name and easier to pronounce in english ^^

Mart reynolds was a random surname from nwn1 and i have sticked with it since. (Altough in NWN he was a cleric and here he's a warrior)

Also made some other names wich i liked(made most up with help of a dictionary xD):

Twilight Templar - Monk
Mummified was Maya - Rit of course
Abbyssal Assasin - My ranger i made before Factions (yes i know i spelled assassin wrong, i don't care )
Mortal Mystery - My mesmer
Omen of Obsession - my paragon/mule
Slicer of Souls - Assassin ^^
Widows Wrath - My deleted dervish.. it was either a derv or rit i choose rit.

Winter Snowblind, it's my Xbox Live Gamertag, and I now use it for most things online. Snowblind meaning "A complete system shutdown of all internal electrical and bio-mechanical systems, created by an EMP blast or similar electrical disturbance" Winter was just something that seemed to fit well with that.

Most of my other characters continue the wintery/snow theme.

They changed names going from the SNES, Artassaut; to the PS1, Artdeux; so I just put two and two together and got Artdeux Artassaut.

I have used my name "Coridan" for along time playing on muds...i think i got it out of a book somewhere.... I use "Coridan A" because i was in a rush and didnt realize that that would be my shown name

I also you Maester Aeron the Maestor from Fire and Ice and Aeron as a play on my RL name

Mine's from an old tabletop game I played, however the game was put on "stasis", i.e. We're shutting it down, but still hoping you'll buy our other games, in the hope we'll continue the one you enjoyed.

Anyway, I adopted the name, and made it my own character, he's rather different from the original.

So all my names are some form or another of Darq, and it's a name I use everywhere.

My new characters that I made in Nightfall had elements of the African setting and holy background in their names,

My black paragon is named "Ebony Exodus" in shiny white armor and tengu mask really rocks.
And my milky white dervish "Ivory Madonna" in white vabbian looks like a true goddess

I chose "the fallen" because it sounds evil and inspires fear in the hearts of men, women, charr and tengu a like! I notice when I watch people tremble in their boots as I tear through their ranks with minions made of their fallen comrades!

I can't remember my 1st chars name, ended up deleting him after a week as messed him up badly.

Since have made all my chars with initials T M. Have deleted some PvP chars where I've made up a name, liked it, and kept them until got around to making PvE chars

Very ineresting, I actually recognized a few names from ingame. This is the most interesting thread I have seen by far.

Okay, well as you can see my Gaming name is Operative 14 and has been for 4 years now. I started playing GW in April of Last year, so my first character was to represent my gaming persona. Now Operative XIV wouldn't work, nor did it come to mind. a few months before, my family also found out that we're descended from European aristocracy, and that we had a Count back in the family line somewhere. So Bam!

Count Operoe is born. Count becuase of family title, and Operoe becuase it is the best shortened version of Operative I could come up with.

A few months later, I was interested in farming and Running, so so I wanted to make a Warrior. I was reading a book at the time that had a character named Darktan. So hence forth my lightly used Warrior character was christened Count Darktan. Whom I deleted and remade a few months after I made him becuase he was to short.

Then I got Nightfall, and started working through that on my Ele [Count Operoe] and I decided to make a dervish, just for fun. My first Female character... let's see... Countess for sure, becuase that's become the theme, she's a dervish so she uses a scythe. Scythe... Reaper... Reapera! And thus Countess Reapera was named. Now she's probably my favorite character, neck in neck with my Ele.

Then I also have a little used Necromancer that I use in Pre sear to get Iris flowers. His name was quite obvious; Count Dracuel. Named after a (not so) Great great great great great ancestor of mine. (I think)
